FANTASTIC. If you are in this area and looking for halal food, then this is it. Their wraps and sandwiches are one of the best i have ever had. Hot n fresh... The best part is that they weigh their filling and then cook it. Portion sizes are great. Their super spicy sauces are a must try. A true gem hidden in Newport. Definitely going back
Absolutely delicious falafel spot. Let me tell you about the hot sauce. It is HOT!!! I was shocked by how actually hot it was. Most places have weak sauce. This place was the real deal.
Excellent subs, fries, Mediterranean wraps, and salads. Also, some tasty kebabs gyros hummus, falafel as don't forget baklava desserts. Popular with the local students and population alike. Very authentic Middle Eastern food.
First time here- we ordered online for take out. It was busy when I got there- the guys were all working hard and it shows in their food!
We ordered onion rings, a super wrap and a combo pesto. We both love spicy and we ordered extra hot- they did not disappoint! This is the spiciest food we’ve eaten since we moved from New Mexico. Portions are huge and the flavors are on point! Thank you guys for giving us some great take out!!
Went in at midday on a Saturday. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. I got a lamb and chicken shawarma wrap. The choice of toppings is nice, and the wrap was pretty good overall. This wrap with fries was about $20 though which is on the expensive side, in my opinion. Unsure if the proteins are prepared on a spit like shawarma usually is since I didn't see spits while I was there. There are certainly better, more genuine shawarma joints elsewhere but this place is fairly good.
Decent casual spot for fresh food. Wraps were good, but the pita was a tad dried out. Middle eastern sampler was fresh and tasty. Grape leaves were very good. Gyro meat was tasty. Chicken shawarma was just alright, was lacking some flavor. Overall my experience was not bad.
I thought this was so good! It is hard finding healthy options in Newport for a reasonable price sometimes and this place for sure hit the spot. Falafel is not necessarily made fresh… but overall for the price it was really tasty and exactly what I needed.
Fantastic!!! Easily one of the best lunches in the area. A mountain of fresh food. My personal favorite is the steak kabob with everything and falafel (which is free of charge) . Everything is super flavorful and the meat is tender. The people who work there are really friendly and inviting. It's amazing as far as fresh food at a value. The amount of food they give you is great is you have a appetite like me. Fully recommend to any one who likes or wants to try halal food. Amazing food!! Also one of my favorite hot sauces in the game!! The hot hot is so good!!!
